Revolutionary New Dating App Happn
You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger
The setting: a quaint book shop.
The story: You cross eyes with a tall dark stranger in the
fiction aisle. That’s it, you know that person is the love of your life and
your life with him flashes before your eyes. You’re already thinking up names
for your perfect children, but when you open your eyes he’s gone. You’ll
probably never meet again. You flip through Tinder desperately hoping to find
him, imagining your deliciously romantic reunion.
The reality of this situation is that you’ll probably never
meet that tall dark stranger again, unless you have the new dating app Happn.
Happn was developed by three French men who were sick of Tinder, and with it
tall dark strangers will be strangers no longer. With Happn, when you cross paths with someone, be it attractive
person on the bus or the waitress that served you a coffee and croissant, their
profile will appear on our screen. No more missed opportunities and regrets.
Currently the app does not have as many users as Tinder, but Happn is planning to launch in all major European cities. At the moment it has about 10,000 users in London, but that number is bound to keep growing. One slight advantage this particular app has over Tinder is that you won't get any bad surprises. If you've crossed paths with the person chatting to you, chances are you've seen what they look like in real life, so when you do meet up you're sure there pictures match up with what they actually look like. However, the more people that get the app, and especially in big cities, the more people will appear on your feed and less likely you will actually have shared a smile before chatting.
This app seems perfect for shy people who wouldn't usually have the guts to go talk to someone they noticed in the street. The app creates a safe place for people to interact without having the pressure of walking up to them in the street and potentially getting rejected face to face. Meeting that tall dark stranger has never been easier.
