Spectre Hits Snapchat with 24-Hour Promo

The Spectre edition features exclusive behind-the-scenes content, a snippet of the theme tune by Sam Smith, interviews with actors and more in yet more publicity for the hottest anticipated blockbuster of 2015. The last part of the promo encourages viewers to send a snap to their friends inviting them to "Come see Spectre with me". Sony Pictures Entertainment's president of theatrical marketing, Dwight Caines, said that the feature is "a fun way for current and future James Bond fans to experience Spectre," no doubt in a push to entice millennials - the majority user-base of Snapchat - who are yet to experience the spy film franchise. “For one day only, Snapchat will be the one-stop shop for Spectre content, including photos and behind-the-scenes looks at the making of this incredible movie," he continues.
Nick Bell, head of content at Snapchat, said the company are "huge James Bond fans", and were excited to be a part of its launch. Snapchat will also offer Spectre-themed filters when the film opens in cinemas - this coming Monday in the UK and November 6th in the US.
