YouTube iOS App Updated For iPad And iPod
YouTube has released an updated version of its iOS application for the iPad Touch and the iPad, with an improved interface and faster video streaming.“Just in time for the holidays,” writes software engineer Horia Ciurdar on the YouTube blog, “you can download or update the YouTube app with a look designed for the iPad and iPhone 5, enhanced AirPlay support, videos that start faster and play more smoothly, and improved accessibility with VoiceOver.”
YouTube created the iOS app, which is specifically designed for touch screen mobile devices, in response to customer feedback and activity: currently, 25% of YouTube videos watched are streamed on mobile devices.
