Facebook Asks Users To Invite Guests To Events
Facebook is now suggesting that guests ask others to join once they click that they are attending a Facebook event.
Early on in 2012, the social network added ‘suggested guests’ for events in a sidebar unit. But this move seems to have taking a further step by automatically asking users to invite others (suggested by Facebook) once they RSVP.
Also, a navigation bar has been added to the top of a page administrator’s main screen. When using the desktop version of Facebook, a navigation bar will appear when they scroll down beyond the cover photo of the page.
This navigation bar features a list of tabs, the option to post a new status, share photos, or create new events and milestones. These bars are similar to the ones that will appear when a user scrolls down on their personal timeline.
This comes shortly after Facebook encouraged users to like similar pages that the social site has recommended once they have clicked the like button on a page’s timeline.
Do you think this is a useful addition to Facebook?
