Pinterest Is Testing A New look
Having taken user feedback into consideration, social Pinboard Pinterest is testing a site redesign.
The navigation of the new design will be “more intuitive”, says Pinterest Software Engineer Vy Phan on the announcement post, with an improved categories list that drops down from a tab in the top right-hand corner.
There will be more information on pins, with “pins from the same board, other boards this pin was pinned to, and a whole slew of related pins” beside each pin clicked on.
Pinterest has also made improvements to how the site runs, making the performance faster and smoother.
The redesign will be released over the coming few weeks to a small group of users so that Pinterest can “work out the kinks”.
If you want to be one of the testers, send Pinterest your information here.
