New Conversation Prism Categorises Social Networks
Altimeter Group’s Brian Solus has released a new Conversation Prism, categorising social networks and popular websites. This is the fourth iteration of the popular data visualisation, with five new categories added and one redefined. Solus has narrowed his focus since version 3.0, however, cutting 122 services but adding only 111.
Here are the five categories added, according to the Conversation Prism website:
- Social Marketplace
- Enterprise Social Networks (shortened to “Enterprise” for formatting, companies included here were previously grouped under “Nicheworking”, which we redefined.)
- Influence
- Quantified Self
- Service Networking
