Vogue Uses Smart App To Bag More Sales
How Instagram became shoppable
It has recently emerged that the women’s magazine, Vogue is allowing users to purchase items they see on their Instagram accounts. It is as simple as it sounds. If the user sees a product on their Instagram feed they like the look of, all they need to do is click on the link below the product and they will receive an email containing a link to the product itself ready to go straight to the checkout.
This is all courtesy of the ‘LIKEtoKNOW:IT’ platform which, once signed up, allows users the opportunity to take advantage of apps such as Instagram and take the hassle out of searching for their desired product before buying.

It is a win-win scenario as products are easier to access for customers, and Vogue gets a commission from every ‘LIKEtoKNOW:IT’ sale.
This, it seems, is beginning to pave the way for an alternative fashion to buy products; allowing quicker and more efficient shopping, as well as aiding the company investing in the platform, to acquire new online customers.
