Paralympian Turns To Social Media
Oscar Pistorius Breaks Twitter Silence
The double amputee Paralympian, whose public trial is still ongoing, has broken his online silence with a string of pious tweets.Pistorius tweeted four times, all pictures with text overlays, similar to the meme-style Whisper posts.
Pistorius also tweeted a page from the 1946 book Man’s Search for Meaning, written by psychologist and concentration camp survivor Viktor Frankl, which pertinently explores the reasons why some inmates crack under psychological pressure and others do not.
The former Paralympic athlete sent out the strange messages to his 354,000 followers on Sunday night (13 July) and Monday morning (14 July).
