#FindArthur trends globally as the search for missing man continues
It hasn't been that long since the hashtag search #FindGareth began to trend all over Twitter. Celebs and people all around the world were seen to be getting behind the campaign in the hope he would be found.We haven't heard much more about missing Gareth since when he was reported missing months ago, however what was clear was that the idea of spreading the word hashtag-style worked wonders for the cause.#FindArthur has been buzzing around Twitter and has caught the attention of many Twitter users, with a couple of high profile supporters jumping in to help too such as darts player Eric Bristow and TV star Matthew Macfadyen to name a few.
Mr Jones' son Jeff said that the response to the campaign has been "overwhelming."
He also added "We were prepared to try anything to raise awareness...it really does take your breath away that people have got behind it."
Arthur went disappeared only 2 days after arriving in Crete. He was last traced by police to have visited a war cemetery at Souda Bay near the city of Chania in early July but cannot be found after that date.
Police are hoping that somebody in the area at that time will have information but for now his disappearance remains a mystery.
