The Best Eclipse That The World Never Saw
The 2015 eclipse has sparked endless tweets and jokes about weather to project Brits' general disappointment after the natural phenomenon was blocked by clouds.
This whole eclipse
business could only go two ways. Either the whole country would have been in awe of the sun's retina-burning beauty, or no-one would see anything and the UK would be outraged.

Luckily for us Brits, we always have something to fall back on Our ability to laugh at ourselves and our dead-pan humour.
A very riled Twitter has mocked
the poor show with tens-upon-thousands of tweets including #fail, #UK and
#eclipse2015.
Here are just a few of my favourites that came up throughout the day:
