It's become pretty common knowledge that Amazon's big day, was not so prime. But where did it all go wrong? Twitter speculates: | ||

As usual, Twitter has kicked up a storm and by lunchtime, users had mentioned "Amazon Prime Day" more than 90,000 times. And not one mention, it seems, was positive.
So, we've packed our sludge-wading boots and we've been browsing through the hate to find some of the best moments that Twitter had to offer on the 15th July 2015, a day that will (probably not) go down in history.
So up first, Twitter users were pretty taken aback with some of the stunning deals they were being offered:
Looks like #PrimeDay is pulling stock from my parents' basement. #PrimeDayFail #waitlist #WTF pic.twitter.com/zw0nNllPZ5

Next came the fury surrounding the dreaded Waitlist:
#AmazonPrimeDay is such a scam. pic.twitter.com/X7xI3l1Qzv

Then came the prevailing sarcasm:
"#AmazonPrimeDay will be better than Black Friday."

So if there is one thing that Amazon Primers have learnt, it is that they probably got the membership for the prestigious event and it was all a waste of time.
Meanwhile, Amazon have learnt that despite all the complaints, they can still do spectacularly and actually managed to sell a whopping 28,000 sets of tupperware.
So if it's tupperware you're after, maybe wait until next July.
