After realising that indeed he may not have meant that quite in the way she originally had thought, she quickly agreed with the young girl who had reminded her that sometimes the media can blow things up. Of course this is true, but Ellen Pompeo maybe shouldn't have been so eager to respond in the first place as it turns out Daniel Craig was merely joking and all he meant was that he'd be happy to take a break before jumping into yet another Bond film. He doesn't however deny the fact that he would only be doing it for the money.
Pompeo didn't apologise but she simply proceeded to agree with her fans and put the blame on media. She wouldn't admit to the fact that she may have jumped to conclusions. I feel a little disappointed by her myself as I am a huge fan of Grey's Anatomy. Let's just hope that this comment won't affect her fans views nor mine when the new series begins early next year. Hopefully we will have forgotten all about it, although for now, I might have to convince myself that she was just having a bad day.
