Nationwide Contest from Celebrity Cruises Looks for #ADifferentView
Frame, camera, action:
How good would it be if a simple photo could pay for your next holiday? That's exactly what stands to happen for at least one lucky winner as part of the upcoming campaign from Celebrity Cruises.
As part of their efforts to promote their new brand film and "encourage people to take a moment to appreciate, and
capture, a different view of something familiar", Celebrity Cruises are set to place 20 frames throughout London, Chester, Birmingham, Weymouth, Canterbury and Southampton. By taking a photo through one of these frames and sharing it on Twitter using the hashtag #ADifferentView, you could win a range of prizes, including a luxury cruise holiday. Not bad, if you ask me.
The contest has been described as follows:
Frame locations have been chosen by photography and travel
experts and Celebrity Cruises’ ambassadors such as renowned bloggers,
instagrammers, TV presenters and top chefs."
The frames are set to appear on the 14th of November, but until then Celebrity Cruises have a few more ideas in mind to celebrate the launch of their new brand film.
Likely hoping the get some high traffic on the hashtag before the aforementioned contest begins, the company are currently encouraging people to use #ADifferentView to share their favourite holiday photos and win some smaller prizes from Aspinal of London in the process.
The contest has been described as follows:
"Celebrating ‘a different view’, the frames are part of a
campaign by holiday company Celebrity Cruises to encourage people to stop for a
moment, and share their different perspective.
Budding photographers and those with a keen eye for spotting
an amazing view have the chance to win a series of prizes - ranging from
exclusive experiences with Celebrity Cruises’ ambassadors such as Oz Clarke and
Great British Chefs, to a luxury cruise holiday – by snapping a photo through
any one of the frames.
The frames, each based on objects or experiences found aboard the ships, are confirmed to be appearing in view of locations including Tower Bridge, the V&A Museum and Chelsea's Albert Bridge, as well as Ocean Village in Southampton and Brindleyplace in Birmingham.
