Track #Santa's Journey this #Christmas

Norad has already been tracking Santa for 60 years and originally you had to call up. It all started from a wrong number in a newspaper ad in 1955. The ad was to call and talk to Santa, but they were put through to Norad's control centre. So they played along, and ever since they have set up radar satellites. There is now also a fully equipped website and during the countdown to Christmas eve you can have a guided tour of the North pole and Santa's village. On Google's site you can find a new activity for every day you get closer to Christmas, like an advent calendar. Your children can also keep on top of their coding skills and search for the different characters in the lab or the museum.

The tracking will begin in the early hours of Christmas eve so that children can watch where Santa is heading to first. They will see that the Southern hemisphere actually gets to have Christmas before us! But until then, head over to the different websites and listen to some classics while you play a few games. There are apps available on Android and iOS and, wait for it, even Windows. You can find out where Santa is on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Google using @NoradSanta. The website is available in eight different languages including English, French and Chinese so everyone can enjoy a little more magic this year.
